Happy Halloween!

The Trick or Treaters have lucked out this year. It’s a clear day with no snow or rain forecasted. I remember the year the ground was covered in snow. I’d made a velour dinosaur costume for Matthew who was two years old at the time. I sewed a string onto the tail and asked him to hold it us when he ran across the snow-covered lawns. Whether he did or not, I don’t remember, but the costume lasted for years. Our grandson, Caleb, wore it for at least one Halloween, and I think they handed down the costume to a friend.

This is my last Halloween card to share. It’s a variation of the one I posted here.  Once again I used the Gina K Designs Master Layout 5, but this time I die cut the window from an A2 black card front.

All the Halloween die cuts are from The Greetery’s Market Place Eerie Avenue. I added the wonderful tree to this card die cut from woodgrain paper and then ink blended to darken it.  A little ink blending was added to the moon and the pumpkins as well.

I didn’t want to cover any of the window with a sentiment strip, but the “boo garland” was perfect once I trimmed off one of the “boos.” I was pretty sure when I ordered this set that I’d enjoy using it, but it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s been a lot of fun, and I’m happy with how the cards have turned out.

This is my second entry to the Addicted to Stamps and More: Any Occasion Challenge.
